Sleep Studies

Certified sleep technologists staff the Sleep Lab at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Sleep studies are done to determine what is causing sleep problems, such as:

Sleep apnea – this is when you stop breathing during sleep for 10 seconds or longer.

Narcolepsy – problems sleeping at night

Insomnia – problems sleeping at night

Periodic Limb Movement Disorder – repeated muscle twitching of the feet, arms or legs during sleep.
