At Fairfield Memorial Hospital, the social services department is committed to assisting individual clients and the community in addressing a variety of needs. The social worker can connect eligible clients to a variety of services in the community. These referrals can include connecting clients with financial assistance, mental heath, and substance abuse resources. The social worker can also utilize the services of The Benefit Bank to determine a client’s eligibility for Medicaid coverage, food stamps, and several other services. The social work department also can assist those that are in need of Respite services for a loved one, as well as handling referrals to Fairfield Memorial’s Swingbed program.
