“With wonderful continued community support of our annual BBQ, Bluegrass & Blue Jeans benefit, held at The Farm at Ridgeway, our Foundation has been able to donate proceeds to Fairfield Memorial Hospital to purchase several pieces of equipment needed to treat patients over the years.  The GlideScope with video capability is the most recent piece of lifesaving equipment to benefit the community,” announced Mike Quinn, FMH Foundation President.  The GlideScope, located in the Emergency Department, is used by emergency room physicians to open up obstructed airways to help patients of all ages breathe easier when in respiratory distress.
The Foundation donated $16,000 to the hospital to enable them to purchase the equipment.  The next BBBQ benefit is Oct. 13, 2017 at The Farm at Ridgeway.
